What does PsychLocal do?

PsychLocal publishes one verified record of your practice — name, address, phone, hours, providers and treatments — across 93 search, map, directory and voice destinations, then monitors them for drift. Instead of maintaining dozens of logins, you update your details once in our dashboard and we push the change out.

Who is PsychLocal built for?

We build specifically for mental health and interventional psychiatry practices — TMS, ketamine and SPRAVATO® providers, psychiatrists and behavioral health clinics. That focus is why our network includes 21 specialty psychiatry and behavioral health directories that general-purpose listing tools ignore.

How do I get started?

Start with the free listing audit to see where your practice is missing or inconsistent today. From there, choose a plan and complete your practice profile in the dashboard. Once that profile is done, the submissions are our job, not yours.

Is the free listing audit really free?

Yes. The audit scans your practice across the directories and search platforms we track and emails you the full report. There is no charge, no credit card required and no obligation to buy anything afterwards.

What's included in the distribution network?

Your practice data is published to Google and Bing, Apple Maps, GPS and mapping platforms, voice assistants including Siri, Alexa and Google Home, and 21 specialty psychiatry and behavioral health directories — 93 destinations in total. Paid plans cover publishing to 50 directories.

Do you submit the listings for me?

Yes. Once your profile is complete in the dashboard, we push your data out programmatically through our directory network partners, and our concierge team handles the sites that need a manual submission or claim. You never have to visit dozens of individual directories yourself.

How long until my listings go live?

Most API-connected destinations such as Google and Bing reflect changes within 24 to 48 hours. Secondary aggregators and directories that require manual submission typically take two to four weeks to crawl and update their own databases.

What happens to listings I already have?

We look for profiles that already exist and update those rather than creating new ones, so the reviews and history attached to them stay put. If the scan turns up duplicates or a record you cannot access, flag it to our team and we will work the claim or removal for you.

Can I manage more than one office?

Yes. Each physical office is its own record in the dashboard with its own listings, audit and progress report. Starter covers one office and Growth covers up to three. If you run more locations than that, contact us and we will price it for your group.

Do you cover AI assistants like ChatGPT?

Yes. We track whether ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot, Grok and Perplexity return your practice, and whether the name, address, phone number and website they repeat back are correct. AI visibility reporting is included with the Growth plan.

Can you guarantee ChatGPT will recommend my practice?

No, and neither can anyone else — AI assistants and search engines do not sell placement inside their answers. What we can do is make the source data those systems read consistent everywhere, and show you month over month whether your presence is actually improving.

Can I switch plans later?

Yes, and there is no fee to change. Plan changes are currently handled by our team, so email hello@psychlocal.com or call (800) 434-4519 and we will move you up or down, usually within one business day.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. PsychLocal is month-to-month with no long-term contract and no cancellation fee. You can cancel anytime directly from Settings → Subscription in your dashboard. Cancelling stops future billing while your access continues until the end of the period you already paid for. Alternatively, email hello@psychlocal.com or call (800) 434-4519 and our team can handle it for you.

Plans are billed by credit or debit card through Stripe. You can choose monthly or annual billing (annual saves 30% versus paying monthly). Your card on file will renew automatically each billing period until cancelled. Card details go directly to Stripe and are never stored on our servers. Your receipt and plan details are emailed to you as soon as the payment clears.

What is a concierge request?

It is done-for-you work on a listing: a manual submission, a claim, or a correction on a directory that cannot be updated through an API. You submit the request in the dashboard and our team handles it. Growth includes two concierge requests.

Yes. We offer Business Associate Agreements to customers on all paid plans. If your use of the platform will involve protected health information, request and execute the BAA before entering any PHI — email hello@psychlocal.com to start that process.

Should I put patient information in the platform?

No. PsychLocal is built for public-facing practice information: names, addresses, phone numbers, hours, providers and treatments offered. Keep clinical details in your EHR. Without an executed BAA, do not enter PHI into free-text fields, intake forms or messaging.

How do I delete my data?

You can request deletion of your account and personal data at any time, and disconnect any third-party integrations you have authorized. Our data deletion page walks through the request process step by step.
